We provide custom catering quotes within 24 hours of your inquiry. We offer same-week availability for corporate delivery drop-offs, boxed lunches, and urgent office luncheons across Greater Houston. For weddings and large galas, we recommend booking 1 to 3 months in advance.

Yes! We provide full-service event production across Galveston Island, Jamaica Beach, and Bolivar Peninsula/Crystal Beach. This includes full event planning, venue coordination, table decor and linens, professional uniformed servers and bussers, as well as turnkey drop-off feasts for beach houses and family reunions.

Can I book a private tasting before my wedding or large gala?

Yes. We offer curated private tastings for weddings and large corporate events. Tasting deposits are fully credited toward your final contract balance upon booking.

What is the difference between Drop-Off Only and Delivery with Setup?

Drop-Off Only arrives hot in insulated transport boxes ready for immediate self-service. Delivery with Setup includes our staff arranging disposable or stainless wire chafers, sternos, water pans, and serving utensils so your buffet line is fully heated and guest-ready upon arrival.

Can we hire just your servers, bussers, or event decor for an event?

Yes. We offer standalone hospitality staffing (uniformed servers, station carvers, bussers) and complete event decor rentals (tablecloths, linens, centerpieces, and backdrop styling) in addition to our culinary catering.

Is Ebony Eyes Soul Food qualified for government and municipal catering contracts?

Yes. We are a certified, fully licensed, and commercial general liability insured caterer with 25+ years of experience meeting municipal, state, and federal procurement standards.

Do you offer dietary accommodations such as pescatarian, vegan, or gluten-free?

Yes. We prepare custom dietary dishes including coastal pescatarian blackened fish, Creole seafood pastas, seasoned plant-based vegan and vegetarian entrees, and gluten-free accommodations.

DELIVERY TERMS

Minimums

One-time delivery: $400 minimum or 15 guests, whichever is greater. Pickup: $250 minimum.
Vacation rental / BNB drop-off: $350 minimum per drop-off.
Meal subscriptions: minimum 10 meals per delivery, starting at $15.95 per meal.

Order Notice

Orders require 72 hours notice. Rush orders (24 to 72 hours) are accepted based on availability, with a 15% rush fee.
Holiday orders (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, Mother's Day, Juneteenth) are due 10 days in advance and paid in full at ordering.

Delivery Fees

One-time delivery: $50 within 20 miles of Houston; $125 for 21 to 60 miles; $250 for 61 to 100 miles; $2.00 per mile round trip beyond 100 miles.
Meal subscriptions: $15 per delivery within 20 miles; free delivery on 8-week or prepaid plans.
Vacation rental / BNB: travel fees apply ($75 within 20 miles; $350 coastal).

Meal Subscriptions

Billed weekly in advance, at the cutoff, by bank draft (ACH) or card on file.
Initial commitment is 4 weeks, then continues week to week until cancelled.
Changes, skips, and pauses are due by 12:00 PM (noon), 4 days before your delivery day. Changes after the cutoff: that week is charged and delivered.
Pause up to 4 weeks at a time at no charge.
Subscriber perks: free delivery on 8-week or prepaid plans, first access to holiday ordering, and a complimentary dessert add-on each month.

Payment

One-time orders are paid in full at ordering.
Payments may be made by bank draft (ACH) directly from your invoice, Zelle, Cash App, debit card, or credit card. Bank draft, Zelle, Cash App, and debit card payments have no processing fee. A 3% processing fee applies to credit card payments. Checks are not accepted.
Texas sales tax applies.

Cancellations (one-time orders)

72 hours or more before delivery: full refund.
24 to 72 hours before delivery: 50% refund.
Less than 24 hours: no refund.

Receiving & Food Safety

Someone must be available to receive the order, or it will be left according to your access instructions. Missed or failed deliveries due to incorrect access information are not refunded.
Refrigerate food within 2 hours of delivery. Reheating instructions are included with every order.
